Well its almost there....special thanks to Jimmy and Blue Bear for helping me out with the rolling chassis and mounting the body. They are a really professional shop with amazing skills, check out all that they did to make my car look right. If you need any fabrication work done, I strongly suggest you give these guys a call. They saved this car from having bird shit welds and a crooked stance. I'll let the pics do the talking....
Very nice, it's great to see chraftsmanship again here on the HAMB. Is that one of those pre-boxed 32 frames or did CCHR's box it? Looks great. I really dig the shock mount/headlight stands. Killer ride. and one more question......is that Blue Bear formerly of the Coddington crew?? Pete-
Dude, I love it. Couldn't have been nicer in my opinion. I can't wait to get mine done (or even get an f-ing steel roadster body!!). I need to write my check to Brookville tonight! Mike
Car looks great. But I don't see the point of the open drive. And couldn't you use truck pumps too? did I say,the car looks great!
That looks great! The chassis turned out really nice...but I expect nothing less of those guys. Top notch work as always. Now chop that windshield!
Is that one of those pre-boxed 32 frames or did CCHR's box it? Looks great. Its a Kiwi Konnection frame....it came pre-boxed. I really dig the shock mount/headlight stands. Me too....wait till you see them incorporate a headlight bar into the mix. and one more question......is that Blue Bear formerly of the Coddington crew?? One in the same. Way cooler guy than that stupid show made him out to be.
I agree. CC does nice work. I also like the engine color. Not such of a dirt fan, but I'm betting that it gets washed. I look forward to further posts. Especially the headlight bar. Really glad to see that you avoided the veed spreader bar.
The trans was open drive when I got it....so I worked with what I had...besides I like it. Those pumps are brand new and I'm broke so we made do....
That's a quality looking chassis and that engine color looks very familiar! Would Blue Bear be the same one that used to work for Boyd? I miss that show but I don't know why. pigpen
Hey! I was there when you dropped that thing off... you still owe me a pair of khaki dickies from that greaseball! that thing is coming along VERY well! ~Jeff
Is that a boxed frame?!?! I really respect Blue Bear for ditching his former boss. I'll bet he'll never regret it. Looks like the guys do dyn-o-mite work.
Good looking ride. When you bought your frame from Squeek, did it come with a center "X" or did Circle city use one of there own? I'm just down the street from them, on Grove. I've been wanting to stop by to see the shop. You now have what I'm gathering parts for now. How long was he build time? Once again, NICE!
I just ordered the bare frame from Squeak, (Boxed frame with front and rear crossmembers). We build everything else. I really enjoyed building that car, It is actually one of my favorite cars we have built. Thanks everyone for the kind words. Jimmy White
Jimmy built the center section. You should stop by, I'm pretty sure they don't mind. He has had my car since December, but didn't start it until January.
Seriously, you guys down there have no idea how lucky you are to have all that talent in one place. Jimmy, I hope you are doing well and can do this for many years to come. Reading back through all your posts you seem like a total class act. Looks easy enough, now I'm going back into the garage! great little car.
Thanks, dude those are some pretty kind words!!! I am pretty much a regular dude that loves to weld. Jimmy White p.s. thanks Mcfly for posting the pic's it would have taken me two weeks to do that!!!
