Sorry I don't have the links handy but Passon Performance or Brewers should be able to help you on any 833 parts.

Be sure to specify which retainer you need as there are several different sizes, tied to changes in bearing size.

Mopar Performance still sells the smaller ones also. The OD one is not available from them.

I've got an 833 O/D behind my 354... and before everyone tells me the O/D trans won't hold-up...I know...I know!

But I'm old and I don't like to blow things up anymore so I'll be gentle with the throttle...

You'll not likely break an A-833 with anything less than 500-600 lb-ft of torque and 354's are not in that league.

Depends on how much boost you have...:)

And the mainshafts (?) on the O/D's are undercut so they are a little weaker plus the countershaft isn't bushed so if the case is worn the gears rattle around a bit...

  16. I've been trying to break an A833 O/D behind my 354 for a while. No luck yet. ;-) It is the cast, not the aluminum case. I've broken a u-joint, yoke, and rear pinion support with the power and put some serious twist in some 28 spline 9" Ford axles but the trans is holding up well.

I've got two aluminum case jobs and I just bought an entire clutch/bellhousing.trans/driveshaft from a local salvage yard. It's behind a 318 so it should have stronger gears and maybe a cast case. I haven't got it yet...

Anyway it sounds like mine might be strong enough anyway...
