Need to get some newer tires on my ride before I move forward.

I want to drive it while I save up for IFS front suspension and a new rear end. Stock tires are weather cheked and shot.

Wide Whites, Blackwalls or raised white letters?

    Any advice or pictures?

    15" wheels.

I like that. I plan on blasting my stock wheels and painting them black and I have shined up the stock caps.

From what I see 99% of the tire shops in the US won't let those wheels in the shop either. It might be different in ND but none of the local tire shops will do split rims anymore. I'd just spring for a set of newer non split rim steel wheels and some proper size black wall or thin white wall tires.

Those rims in my picture are 15" six lug truckfrom the 60's? in the back and 5 on 4 3/4 70's chevy rims from the wrecking yard on the front. Painted and capped they look the same.

Some of the implement oriented tire places will still mount on split rims.

Steel 8 bolt wheels with minimal back spacing seem to be rare as hens teeth...otherwise I would just swap them out.

Eventually it will be 6 or 5 bolt.......eventually.
