image.jpg image.jpg anybody use either of these for a Chevy 235? My car is a '54 Bel Air. The Rochester works; but it's almost time for a rebuild or 'upgrade'...

Upgrade ??? $20 will buy a carb kit, & a good mechanic can make a Rochester BC better than new.

Anybody else? looks like the Daytona carb is a Zenith model that was used on later GMCs.?.

Worked on lots of 235's back in the day and still have several in the shop for future projects as well as some 261 stuff. The carb on your 54 was a great carb and a quality rebuild kit and a very good carb rebuild should be all you need.
