Chevrolet Axle Id Help needed

Spotted this one for sale, 10 bolt Chevrolet,

The axle tube is stamped FXO140
The axle casing has 050 126 cast into it.

Any info would be useful as would it's suitability for a Chevrolet AD pick up, width wise?.

I have since been informed that it's an early camaro and is approx 54" wide,measured from the back plate mounts.
