Drawing credit: Ted Robinette ASR I have an International truck I beam and would like to put a Chev 6 stud disk hub on it. For some reason this is not displaying like I intended. The international stub axle (may be called spindles from what I have read) has the following dimensions in inches. For reference the two Chev stub axles I have to measure are also included. I can deal with bearing sizes with spacers or machining the stub if need be. My problem is length (feel free to insert appropriate jokes). The H length is the most critical. As you can see the International axle is shorter. Therefore does anyone have access to a later Chev Stub axle with a 6 stud hub that can be measured to see if the H measurement is close to 3.385 or shorter? It does not have to be Chev as long as it shares the Chev 6 stud pattern of 6 on a 5.5 PCD. Thanks Steve from down under
Take a look at a 2 wheel drive Isuzu pickup from around 1974. They were drum brake but the hub was separate from the drum. That is the same basic rig as the 74 Chevy Luv I had in the early 90's that was six lug. Wheel bearings would be mix and match per inner and outer sizes. I can't find any specs on 60/70 Chevy C 10 hubs. Some of the swap kits use the mid 70's Camaro hubs I've got an inquire out on a truck board I am on though.
