I scored this Mac Tools engine analyzer today at a Thrift Store for 5 bucks and it works. I also got 2 1964 Hotrod mags and pickle fork. I only spent 8 bucks total. This Thrift Store rocks.
Yup. I just about broke my wrist reaching for my wallet when the dude that owns the store told me the price. He said normally it would be twenty but he was having a sale. I have bought a few old 60's Hotrod mags before for 2 bucks each but today he let me have them for a buck. That guy rocks.
Bought a Sears one at a Moving-to-another-State sale for a half a buck, complete with instructions and all the parts.. Works like new. Even a blind squirrel finds an acorn, once in awhile...
Lol. I just mean its not new. I like old tools. They were built to last in the past. Most new tools are junk. I'm a 70's kid so I'm not too young myself.
I got a nice old heavy chromed metal timing light for 50 cents at a yard sale once. You could club someone to death with it! Not even sure if it works but it looks the shit.
I went again today and scored 4 good old steel punches, an 8 inch American made C clamp and a bitchin pair of brake spring pliers for a grand total of 4 dollars.
1987 old? I rememebr things that happened in 1987. A friend of my fathers gave me a bunch of old tools. They were in wooden crates marked for pudding cups - circa 1890s, 1900s or so pudding cups, not some Jell-o plastic thing. Old is an understatement here.
Nice sore Im just sharing my score of today .Best thing I just learned is how to post on adds. Copy and paste . I'm computer stupid No mechanics involved
