Quick and easy. What do/did you guys do for a rear body mount on a channeled Model A? I have mounts set up right to the kick up on my frame. But after the rear crossmember i have nothing. Does the rear of the car just hang or should it be supported some how to the rear body crossmember?

    Thanks,
    Ty

You gotta brace it in there, but it does hang.

I built the sub rails out of 1x2 11ga. And went up and over the kick up. Then I dropped back down to the bottom of the body so I could have storage behind the kick up

  4. This perhaps may be why the rear lower crossmember, that goes under your "under the decklid" panel.. is referred to as a "Heavy duty crossmember". Yes it does hang though.. After the rear chassis crossmember it just hangs out there in the breeze. You can brace it up though really however you'd like.

I've got some bracing already added to it. As seen in other threads it does usually just hang out there.

    Thanks,
    Ty
