Technical Carter carburetor ID help

Can anybody decipher this for me? I've been looking and only see the 2555S.

 

Looks like 9637SA

 

Think it's 9637SA 2555.

 

Carter clone? 625 CFM?

Nah I’m pretty sure anything that’s in the 9000 is the newer Carter clones so to speak

 

carter in the 80s-90s made the 9000 series. The 9635 had chevy linkage, 9636 mopar, 9637 ford. they're 625 cfm.

but expect some errors in this info....it's "ballpark"

If it idles and runs to WOT that would make it good for something.
