Norm Grabowski's T had a serious rake
Man, that's sheer beauty.
My pair of coppers worth ......
Id love to see some more pics of this truck.
I've got lots of 'em posted on my site. http://streetrodder.net/category/my_hotrods/40_stake_bed/
The photo session was courtesy of American National Property and Casualty. They asked to shoot it for potential use in some of their classic vehicle insurance marketing materials. I was pretty honored to be asked and jumped at the chance. That particular shot was one that I took with my phone.
The coupe has some rake, too, but not as drastic as the truck.
Really nice looking ride. I had a 38 stake bed project years ago. We sold it and a bunch of other old car stuff to help us come up with the money for the down payment on our first house.
Wow, what a work of art. Absolutely love it
Thank you ehdave!

Opps sorry for the two pics, these forums give me a fit at times as i'am not much of a PC guy
like the look,
but front tires look huge,
how does it steer?
Kustom Baby Bird
Johns Rod & Custom, what size wheels are on that T-bird? It may be an illusion but they look huge in those photos.
That's just about perfect!!!
Like a truck??
Now that you point that out ... they do look bigger up front. But it's just the pic. They're the same all around and as for steering/driving, I think it's go a great feel (for a truck! ).
Rake doesn't need to be extreme just smooth. The car really dictates what the rake is more then the rake dictating what the car is.
Man I love these pics that people have in their garages. It gives the rest of us a look into the mind that dreams up and builds these cars
That's not mine - wish it was though - I stole the picture off of the 40 turns 75 thread and I thought the rake was just right!!
I don't know who owns the red '40, but it's in Vern Tardel's garage. The car is beautiful, but it would also look good lowered a couple of inches at both ends.
They just haven't loaded the 'shine in it yet.
I would like to see the above 34 tudor with a 35 grille, >>>> Moose? Anybody?
Pete this sedan is nice. Yours? Did you raise the fender wells?
