Event Coverage Cars 2 movie premiers June 24 2011

CARS 2 hits the track on June 24, 2011 and will be presented in Disney Digital 3D™ in select theaters.



I know I'll be at the Starlite Drive-In in Wichita with my girls for this one!

I'm stoked its coming out, although I admit to being a little disappointed it wont be about a HAMB friendly hot rod story. I guess that old thread kind of went to my head.

A spy movie plot? Not sure about that, but I'm looking forward to seeing it. My boy is 2 and he loves the first movie. So does Daddy.

 

I heard they were going to release something on my birthday. I'm honored!

I have been waiting a long time for this.....oh and my girls too.

 

Sweet! That's one of my favorite movies to have to watch 5 times in a row with my kids on a sunday hahaha, Now we can switch it up a bit. I did always like seeing the older cars and Radiator Springs with its old signs and gas pumps.

 

I think I just found a new screen saver.

Saw the 3d trailer before Tron this weekend at the local imax, thats going to be a great show, ill probably look like a dork sitting there with my wife and no kid laughing my ass off but who cares.

 

I thought for sure this one would star a '57 Safari. Jay???

 

never mind the kids!! I`m going to enjoy it.Love the first one.Lots of cool history that only a car guy would know. The spy idea is a bit corny but as long as mader in it I`m all over it.

 

I agree completely.

The corny plot is to be expected. How many sequels don't have a corny plot, when they try to cash in on the success of a previous movie?

 

Is Jay Ward still involved with Pixar? I loved the lil short they had of him in the first movie.... wish we could see a model a or a sweet kustom....maybe someday...

 

Why couldn't Lightning and Sally have a kid. That grew up wanting to be a drag car and Lightning trying to get him to race Piston Cup.........
