or clean it out....and see if there's a filter, etc. There are several things that could be wrong, you won't figure it out by just asking people who are thousands of miles away from the car. You're going to have to do some investigating, yourself.
One of the problems I've seen is corrosion in the carb, Alcohol and water that it pulls in the are very hard on a carburetor fittings.
One of the nice things about the internet or world wide web, all kinds of specific docs are available free for downloading. Lots of stuff on the 2100 or 2150 carburetors. There aren't really too many specs or adjustments, maybe 6 or 7, but every one is really important. Find those Ford carb manual downloads like here: https://www.carburetor-parts.com/ if you dig around. Study them and you'll be way ahead. When I started turning wrenches that kind of info was hard to get, generic tune up manuals at the public library was about it. You can probably get away with just replacing the needle (if that's the problem) but they are supposed to be replaced as a set, needle & seat. For all that it could just be a piece of crud or speck of rust. If it hasn't been cleaned out in a couple years it probably needs it anyway.
I always tell people to check fuel pump output pressure, that's part of a good Tune-Up. A lot of the fuel pumps sold these days are way off the beam (too high) or erratic. You can check or adjust the float height at assembly time, but what you're really interested in is when it's installed back on the engine is the "wet height" or the actual fuel level height in the bowl. Float height is just a bench setting, to get close. As it happens a US quarter works just about perfect for checking this.
