    Hi all,
I am going to send out to have some spacers made for my Model 94 carbs.
    I'm putting together two 3x2 systems, one on a Y Block and 1 on a 350 SBC.
I want to add about 1/2" spacers to get the carbs up off the manifold to reduce the heat.

I'm thinking they should be made from a good hardwood.

What would you make them from?

If "phonolic" is the same as "phenolic", I agree with this guy.
