Jeff Myers built this wild Studebaker...
Had a bunch of pics I had grabbed from the web and wanted to share them. Sorry for any duplication of previous posts.
I like them on customs but no so much on hot rods, when they are used on a hot rod I just think the builder is trying to combine a custom with a hot rod, if that's what they want it's fine with me.
Everybody has different ideas of with looks best and that is up to the individual, on hot rods I prefer the big headlights where others prefer the king bee. HRP

So, I got the tail lights "roughed in"... When finished, they'll be molded in and painted black
along with the rest of the truck. I realize this is a head light thread, but these were inspired by the quads on the front...
To each his own, I guess, but I've never liked the canted headlight look; it always makes me think of an old lady with bee-hive hair-do and those old ugly horn-rim glasses.
Then why comment? Geeze, there's always one...
From another HAMB thread.
From someone's old photo album.
I’m a sucker
Two I’ve owned/own
I built this in 1978/80 (without the scoopy thing) its now on its 2nd restoration...............
That poor Stude...
Some shots from an Australian rod/custom thread elsewhere on the H.A.M.B. Interesting stuff, for sure.
More beauties from the "Kustom blues? I need to see some kustoms..." H.A.M.B. thread. Sorry for any repeats.
Some familiar, some not so familiar.
All pics of the same ride.
Looks like Mother Nature originated this whole thing............
Car builders often get ideas from nature. Baracuda,Mustang, Batmobile
Even I don't know what to think of this four-eyed Australian ride!
Looks like it was done for better visibility for night driving. ^^^^^^^^^ Notice the grille gard.
Love those period pics.
This one popped up on my Facebook feed, this morning. Not sure if it's a U.S. build with a Canadian grille or a Canadian build.
Effie with canted quads.
What about the Golden Sahara II haul truck....
