When I go I aways visit the Corvette Sackville in the Halfax Harbour. I always visit the Fort too and the museums which tell how Haifax was completely blown away by an explosion from a burning French ship in the harbour. (WW1) Unbelievable story and pictures. Should be a cruise night somewhere too. CTC (Canadian Tire Corp ) parking lot or sometimes A&W. If it is there a trip on the Bluenose replica would be a good deal however considering the history you might not appreciate it as much. Don
Not car related, but a tour of the Alexander Keith's Brewery is always fun. Couple of mugs of beer, some history and entertainment.
