hey, I have an opportunity to buy these engines, and im wondering if you can tell me which they are. They are in 1954+ dodge large trucks, and I believe they are 241-270s but im not sure which. Thanks.

I'm not a hemi expert, but I believe that the "Super Red Ram" engines are 270s.

If the price was right I'd be buying em no matter what type Hemi they were.

See that tube in front of the intake, where you pour the oil in?

Look between that and the water pump on the top of the valley there, and there will be a number. Bring some gunk spray and a toothbrush.

    Type that number into google.

    Presto, you're done.

I wouldn't go by what the valve cover says. They look like the 241 or 270 dodge low-deck motors though.

Probably going to be a VT- type number.
