Projects Can someone id this car?

Im getting this new project for next to nothing and I wanted to see if anybody can positively id it. the owner thinks its a Chevy.

Looks like a late thirties to early fourtys nonexistacar. Very rare and highly sought after.

 

Im going to guess since theres no description or photo of said car it has to be one of the many henways , they seem to show up on here from time to time : )

I thought it was a 29 Chevy at first glance, but it's definitely not Chevy.

 

Not a chevrolet. Chev engine was an overhead. I'm thinking Willys or Mopar.

 

I'd guess 29-29 Plymouth.

 

Thanks I'll check it out closer when I pick it up.

Henry29 is correct. 1929 or 1930 Plymouth.....with the incorrect wheels.

 

Are you sure it is not a Whippet?

 

I should be picking it up in 2 Weeks. Ill get better pictures of it when I get it home. Hopefully it has a badge or name on it somewhere.
