Hey guys I have an old 41 ford sedan with a mid 80's gm brake pedal assembly. It is the hanging type thru the firewall. It has served me well for over 12 years. I recently did some upgrades and installed insulation and carpet on the floor boards and now my brake pedal bottoms out before I get full stroke. Can I just re drill the holes in the arm to raise it about 2 inches without messing up the ratio or anything? The pedal was always a little two low so it looks like this would work great and fix two problems? Would it just be better to move the whole assembly including master cylinder up 2 inches?

    Thanks,

Well now that I look at this it makes perfect sense. My easy fix would have been a disaster! A big Thank You!
