Can I add white walls to a modern drag slick?

I once washed the tires with lacquerer thinner and while still damp. I spun the wheels on jack stands and sprayed them with Dulux white enamel paint holding the gun within 1" of the tire. No Masking.

I was suprised how long they lasted.

 

I know where a '59 Coupe DeVille is in the county where I live. I don't think many people know about it. The old guy that owned it dragged it way back behind his house about 20 years ago. Now he is dead but his wife is still alive. I went there once and couldn't get an answer at the door. Would love to get it myself but it is probably more realistic of a project for someone with far more resources (read:money) than me.

 

Awww, your feelings are hurt. Bummer. Suffice to say this is the HAMB and that happens.

New slicks are mostly wrinkle walls, so chances are no it won't work.
