I'm not running the wire covers. Can I just order up some stock replacements for a 426? I don't want bright red or yellow wires. Just simple black. -Ish
I used Taylor wires on me Chrysler. They fit great with the proper ends and come in most any color including black. You would not be disappointed.
Bondo Slinger, I used Taylor and got almost everything from Eric at Hot Heads. Here is my build thread: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=862612&highlight=32+spitfire Todd-32 Spitfire High noon Speed Shop
I bought Taylor for my 354. Half the wires were too short. Taylor's response was to sell me four longer wires at full nut retail. Not a good experience.
If you don't mind crimping your own, the Summit racing muscle car wires work well. Been running them on my 61 for a while and they're great! http://www.summitracing.com/search/...it-racing/wire-color/black/diameter-mm/7-00mm I prefer crimping my own, since you can route each wire nicely. The pre-terminated sets never seem to fit quite right.
Go to a mom & pop auto parts store and buy the wire by the foot. They sell the ends separately. I have less than $20 into my set and they fit perfectly.
