Folks Of Interest can anyone identify this hood ornament?

I collect hood ornaments pertaining to the '37 ford..since there were over 20 different aftermarket hood ornaments for '37..I don't see myself finding all of them. there were 3 or 4 greyhounds made that yr..I thought I was doing good finding this one..its not for '37..its small and the base is wrong..I thought pedal car? any thoughts guys?

 

It's from a Greyhound bus....

 

The hood ornament is from a 1930s Whippet automobile.
The dog very much resembles a Whippet dog.
