Technical Can anyone I'd this chrome trim please?

So my ol buddy Mo gave me this today, and tells me he thinks it's off an old Chev.
I know old Ford's and Chevys pretty well, and it doesn't look familiar to me.
Can anyone tell me what it's off?

 

back side appearance will tell us a lot...but I doubt it's off an old Chevy.
