Can a sprint car type torsion bar suspension work on a street driven hot rod??

    Is there anyone out there that will help / work with one in determining the correct bars,etc. for home built Hot Rods??????????

    Well, never thought about a Morris Minor being a hot rod, but those ran torsion bar front ends with out much ado as did almost every Moparmonkey from the late 40's through the 70's.

    A lot of guys bad mouth the Volare front end, I've been running one in my Terraplane since "94". It rides and handles great. Would use one again if I would build another car. The truck I am working on now has spring bars, some old stock car buddy's talked into, I don't know how it will handle though.
