    ontario,s west coast , north of london, and yes it,s cold here too.

  3. East central Saskatchewan where it's a balmy -30 without the windchill. One good thing here, though, if you can't find someone to GIVE you an old car or truck, you ain't looking hard enough. Oh yeah, we have 5-6-7 Pontiac sedan deliveries here too!!

    ...yes, at one time from beautiful downtown Erin , and striper with one 'p'......nobody ever offered to pay me to take it all off !

  18. I went to High School in Belle River.:)

    Tecumseh Ontario here, I just usually tell people Windsor though. Just across the Ambassador Bridge from Detroit Mi. The busiest international border crossing there is.

    Now correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Beaumonts get a LeMans dash in them instead of a Chevelle dash?

    OK
    Now that my keyboard has started to "thaw"; (as in un-freeze)
    I'll lay claim to being a "Canuck!"
    (born and bred)

    Just for those who don't know the Celsius scale;
    - 40 deg C. is equal to -40 deg F.
    Water freezes at "0" deg C. - or 32 deg F.
    100 deg F. is equal to about 38 deg C.

    There were temperatures north of here that in combination with the wind resulted in a NEW record,
    - 50.2 deg F!! the other night! (yes that's MINUS!!)
    Even tow trucks were freezing up!!

    I am currently located in TO.

    But I was born in Windsor and grew up there, then Guelph (home of Moo U), then Milton (Home of absolutely nothing), then Oakville (home of Sheridan C), then Toronto (home of everything else).

    I do have a little shop in Alliston, but I am thinking of moving it to the Hammer.

    Im from Finch Ont. small town inbetween Ottawa and Cornwall. James Boys there are two of those cars around at this point. One was rebuillt in Ottawa by a guy named Glen Rocque this car(body and frame only) was left at a drag strip in the early 70s after a major crash Glen found it after someone made a street rod out of it and screwed up most of it. He re built the car as best as he could with a blown 427 chev. Not as raced but he did paint it the orignal two tone green.

  29. hey screwball;
    saw Glenn at Christmas time, took pics of the car.Looks like it hasn't turned a wheel in several years..
    Did you know Glenn had a fire at the house NY day?

    Freezing in Waterloo, Ontario. Remember the Pontiac Astre (Canuck Vega). In the 70's Bert Straus built a prostock Astre "Chief Chilly Willy" and the NHRA would not allow him to race because the car was not built in the USA.
