C4 Transmission help

Does anyone know if there is a block off for the speedo drive hole if you don't want to run a speedo cable on a C4,I am guessing that the hole has to be sealed.

I picked up a expandable plug from autozone works like a champ!

 

Do you mean one of those that you tighten up the nut and it expands

 

I have never seen a block off made specifically for it, but what I used is the Electronic Sender from a later model (It fits just like the cable) and just knocked off the wire part. And YES it will pour oil if you don't seal it.

Found it, Ford part# F2UZ-7H183-A plastic plug with o ring that uses the original bolt.

 

Yes the kind you tighten up and it expands I had a electro our of a later model one night it blew out oil all over the freeway, under my car pulled of at autozone bought a expandable plug been there ever since!!
