Much like big foot Beaner always appears blurred in photos.

    - people would freak if they knew he looks blurred in real life!

I can confirm that you can run a 6v generator with a 12 v regulator as an easy switch to 12v.

Yup I’ve done that as well. Austin’s old man works rebuilding generators and starters so may as well have them done up ;)

Well took a bit of a break on the Model A. Didn’t even look at it much for the past few months and then the bug jumped and bit me. Got the toasted starter off and at the rebuilders. Should be done tomorrow. Figured I’d blow the dust off this thread.

Congrats. Trick that seems to have worked for me is to just keep playing with the old cars and eventually they join in and help too. Don't force it. And include them whenever possible. Helps to drive them to school in the loud hot rod every once in a while to show dominance to her classmates too. Haha you've got a couple years to perfect the tudor before that though.

Haha thanks man. I’ll definitely introduce it slowly and let her decide if she likes all this old junk ;) I can’t imagine her not haha.

I drove my 14 yr. old daughter, Hedy, to high school one morning in her Junior year.
The car I drove her in was the 95" wheelbase '29 Roadster Pickup we used to run at Fremont ('Baylands') A legal A/Street Roadster, no fenders, altered W.B., 36" aluminum bed, 472" Chev LS6, M21 Muncie, narrow 9", 4.56. This car is 'convincing'.
We rumbled up to the curb where her friends were, they gaped...
My parting word to her was, "No riding home in any suped-up cars! You know how I hate hot rods!"
When she did get home, she said "Nice one, Daddy...my friends think you're 'crackers'!"

I have two daughters and no sons. They both are somewhat gearheads, but the older one was more into the late model stuff. I let the younger one drive Clarence to school occasionally when she was old enough to drive. We also took road trips together in it. She told me back then she wanted Clarence in my will. That was over 20 years ago and she still wants it when I'm gone. b-t-w; she married into a family of gearheads, although they are Corvette/muscle car types.

So, try to keep them in the shop with you. They will thank you for it later on.
