Hot Rods bumpers for 40 ford

I need a pair of repo bumpers for a 40 project. Are Carpenter bumpers the same quality as Drake? Carpenter is cheaper and with flat rate shipping. Getting my originals plated is out of the question.

 

I've bought a lot of parts from Dennis Carpenters and never had any problems with their chrome but as to whether the Bumpers are the same as Drake's I don't know.

 

I would be willing to bet that they come from the same source.

 

Lately I've found if Carpenter doesn't make a part, they sell Drake's. I know that really doesn't answer your question though.

 

Theres another 'brand', all stainless, 'United Pacific . A friend had them on his 40, they were pretty good.
