Art and Gary both had blowers and Don didn’t as every one knows. I know it was many years ago and I was talking to Gary at a SCTA meet about his early days drag racing. He laughed about beating Don and it was probably during elimination rounds. Gary had a lot of stories and he enjoyed telling them. I was only 14 at that time and could only read about them. Being friends with Gary up until his end was a real treat for me as he had lived the dream of a kid like me.
She's real fine...... We built a 348 Tri-power Bantam roadster in high school. I had a 409 with a M/T dual quad cross ram on it. I ran 600 cfm vac secondary Holleys on it. Run the Stromberg 48 for some more air. 48 @ 180CFM vs 97 @ 155CFM. 1440 cfm with 8 of them.
