I am installing a set of 1960 Buick finned brake drums using Wilson Welding Hubs. When installing the brake shoes I noticed that the shoes are nor centered relative to the backing plate, they are biased toward the bottom of the backing plate. Trying to understand what is going on I noticed that top locating pin, right above the wheel cylinder, that locates the shoes is an eccentric. I am assuming this is used to move the shoes relative to the backing plate, does any have a working knowledge of this.
    Thanks in advance.
