For all those who didn't get to the Antioch Fairgrounds today here are a few snaps to stare at over a brew...
Nice pictures, thanks for posting them, had a blast, and you took a picture of the trophy I built(best wagon)!
We gave it to Javier Mejia with the Tweak Bot 55 chevy wagon(the crazy metal flake one) But we didn't get to give it out, so I don't know how it went, we had someone broke down right before the bridge so we had to split right away and get him help!
great pics .. more please oF the chev wagon w/ the packard lights , the henry J and the fenderless f-85
Yes with a Red Ram Hemi in it! The car was cooler than words and pictures, it was so odd and then the work put into such an odd car made it even cooler!
Right on! 1935 (perhaps '34) Hupmobile. Industrial design credited in whole or part to Raymond Loewy, later of Studebaker fame.
command performance: Bikes from the B'proof lawn BTW, I loaded these and other images on smugmug. Paste this in yer browser: http://renorust.smugmug.com/gallery/3486124/1/196328464#196328464 Think that will get you there.
Gambino, thanks for the BBQ and happy belated birthday! I gave generously (at least I thought so) and thanked your wife. Thanks again, btw the project Chevy lokks like it is coming along very nicely.
those were red ram valve covers dummied up over the ls1 fuel injected motor. the carb is just sitting on top of the trottle body. it kinda had me fooled at first but yeah its a fake. beautiful car it dosent need the b.s.
As turbo says, it's actually blue rather than white. But, yes it's my '35 Hupmobile. It started life as a 4 dr (Hupp didn't make 2 dr's in '35). I shortened it 6" in order to get a better proportion for a 2 dr.
