I'll try to keep it short. An old fella I know has a large collection of various Fords, Lincolns, Mercurys and other makes. Everything from 28 roadster pickups to Ltd's. The man won't sell a thing. Nothing. That's ok I say, it's his stuff. Well he dies and his son, who is a friend of mine says he'll sell some cars. Well..no, no he won't..I keep asking, someday the son tells me. Well...HE dies. Sad stuff for sure. So the family who lives 2000 miles from here decided to have an estate sale of all the stuff, cars, parts, buildings, house, and so on. Shit I think, I can't be bidding against other folks who want the same cars I do. Sad stuff for sure... One of my good friends gets to know the family of the stuff, and allows us in pre estate sale, to buy cars!!! Went today and was able to buy a few cars. Literally was name your price, with in reason. Got these... The 32 is a B, and a real nice restored car. The T bird is quite nice, no rust any where, with the worst paint I've ever seen on a car.
Nice cars to buy! I'd rather have a shitty paint job like that, than a real nice one on shitty bodywork.
I do agree completely, but that shitty paint may be hiding shitty repairs. At least it should come off pretty easy.
