Palm Springs :(. I was there Saturday, and Sunday, then I flew out to PS for the school my companies' puting me through, that they bought my airline ticket for this trip, but I should be back Sat morning.

Left dad there though, with the A, so at least one of us is there :D.

I am coming to bonneville speed week for the first time. And have a few questions.

Is there food and drinks to buy there? Any companies have stands/selling stuff there (Like Hop up magazine, SCTA or others)?

We have also heard that rodders meet at some hotel or casino at night. Is this in Wendover?

We are going to be there on Saturday!

    Thanks.

    Kenny.

Kenny, Bring GOOD sunglasses and a straw hat (easily found in whatever city your plane lands in) and don't forget quality suntan lotion. The sun is hot and the white salt is blistering.

You'll find all the regular amenities at the flats as far as food and drink goes. You'll consume a lot of water out there.
There is no shortage of T shirts, souvenirs and Hats.
Support some teams by buying their hats/shirts instead of the venders who are there just to make a profit.
Wendover is the place to be after hours But some have more fun hanging around with the crews on the salt when the sun goes down. There is always something happening out there.

Coming from Norway, you will probably be in for a real big shock when you feel the sun and heat.

Are you flying into San Francisco of Salt Lake City?
