Just put the body back on the Coupe Saturday. Used the hoist as all my buddies were at the Lake or car shows. Down to 1 month before driving to the salt. Cutting it close.
I was at the Spokane swap meet and wasn't around to help-I looked at the build pictures in your album-great stuff!
great looking coupe........... you may have to work a little OT on the car to meet your deadline...........
Sweet '34! Keep grinding away and you will get some salt on it. I want to see some pictures of that also.
It'll be good to see how your cowl steering works out with your lake headers, I want to do that on my coupe but it looks a little tight for clearance.
Someone Point ME in THE RIGHT DIRECTION>>>>>> Fer Pic of' 35 / '36 Ford sedans set up for Bonnieville/ or that have run shown up AT Bonneville.Presently or in the Nostalgic past...........thanks, smoke; Thanks, Smoke
The 34 lives. My buddy and I made our shake down cruise Monday after spending the last two weeks working 14 hr days. If all goes well we will be driving the 900 miles to the salt on the 11th.
Primer should have been a standard color option in 34, just looks right on your ride. Dont rush things. The salt will be there next year too. A friends '56 about rolled off his lift when he hastly removed the driveshaft to install speedo gear. Didnt chauk the wheels, and the car rolled 6 inches and the roof hit the garage ceiling. Bout a 12k paintjob, ouch.
well it looks like your going to bonneville........ I am planning a trip there next year. Have fun......
