There's just NO END that Keith will go to in order to squeeze out another mile per hour or two even if it means asking for a little DIVINE INTERVENTION

I'll put the word out to the North Platte guys. I know my dad and his buddies love seeing your rods there. Watch for the blue model A sedan, or maybe he will steal my black/grey 57chev 210.

  12. You can't walk the salt flats with tripping over a Rolling Bones bias tire, they are in the pits, they are in the line, they are in front of the casino. How do they do it???

Can't take the time and don't know if any of my old rides would make it to the salt, but I will see you in Perrsyburg, OH Saturday evening. I just made reservations at the Econolodge for my wife and I to come up from Indianapolis to meet, cookout and party with the circus. I can't wait to see your cars. Be looking for a 49 Fleetline or maybe the 69 truck.

Umm... There is nothing "close by" Rock Springs. Nothing. Well, there's antelope. And rocks.

Just took the 49 Fleetline out for an extended cruise today to see if it's up to the trip. Put 190 miles on it in 93 degree temps. It ran nice and cool with good oil pressure all day. See you in Ohio on the 3rd.

You guys should stay on I-90 and go through Montana:D Way better drive with nice roads, plus its only a $5 ticket if your below 85 mph.

  25. I'll be that Canadian.

I might try to swing out for lunch in Erie on the 3rd, then I'll head for home. What's your route before you get to Erie? I'll be coming across the border at Buffalo (in my econobox daily driver unfortunately).

Flying to B'ville on the 9th. If I don't see you in PA I'll see you in UT.

  27. Just throw away that stupid plane ticket and jump in with Bart! ;)
    B.

  28. I would LOVE to! You know it. I'd love the seat time with Bart, don't know that the feeling is mutual :D

Hmmm, drive out to Erie for lunch, and a nice drive back along the lake might help convince the better half...

Yea, A, if you want to meet up at my place in Tonawanda and follow us down to Erie, that's fine by me.

  30. Just broke the news to Bart about the SFer salt invasion and the possibility of you showing up in Erie....he said "screw the plane...jump in!" :D
