my 48 a few days ago ...
A few for sure, but that Rivi aint one. Its been built by Cholos customs in Japan.
But i know the one you talkin about. Actually there were 2 similar ones back then, Sex Pistol and Technical Extacy. They sure were inspiration for the Jap one.
Back on topic. The 32 Hupmobile is the nicest 30s car ive seen in a while.
That's rad We are building a 48 also
love these cars and trucks, i have a '65 ford f100 on air but when i see these bombs i'm drooling........damn have to build me a bomb one time...
Here's another picture of my Bomb. I don't think I have put this one up here yet.
Gosh, that's beautiful. I love those postwar Chevrolets with the Streamline Moderne trim.
Dude, that's beautiful!
this thread is incredible. such craftsmanship!
Does anyone have pictures on how they build there rear end with hydraulics and still manage to get them so low? I mean here on h.a.m.b i can find thousands of build threads when people are fabricating 4link and airbags setups, but i cant find anyone doing the "same" except they use hydraulics and springs. anyone ?
Foppa, you should ask that question on Chevybombs.com forum. They have massive knowledge about hydros on bombs and Im sure you will find good info there.
oh thank you Orn.. i will check out that forum, i've totaly forgott about that one..
I love how he used the 59-60 spinner on them caps....love this truck!!
Who owns this poncho and anymore info/pics on it??
Theres that word PATINA again. I'm getting nervous. Whats next? Rat Bombs?
YES... Like said, it's in the movie "LA MISSION" with Benjamin Bratt. GREAT MOVIE!!!!!
You dont get it do you, thats a work in progress.
Have you ever seen any of the Style Kings rides? These pages are full of'em.
same basicprocess, but what youre missing probably is thwe fact that juiced cars still run on coils.
Theres a roundplate on top of them (donut) that houses the cylindr that rises and lowers the car.
Most of the times theres just 2 or 3 coils left to achieve the slammed look.
What keeps the car from runnin like shit is the accumulators, or a very well thought set up.
Heres more pics of this 50 Poncho from Sweden.
I get it alright I was just teazin'. After seeing the two long threads about "patina" I couldn't resist. I just wish I had the vision and skills some of these guys have.
^^^ i see, sorry dude ^^^
My 46 Olds photo shopped in OEM colours. Disregard the FUGLY wheels. I just need to add vent shades, swamp cooler, Dietrich sunvisor and other period correct accessories
Why thank you. You know, I feel exactly the same way. My bomb Fleetline is the one car I have owned the longest.
here is mine.. a work in progress as I just got it but I need some brackets for my visor and buff out my white walls.. then it is thermador time and accessories!
Wow guys, those are some beautiful machines! Keep them bombas coming!
