If you go with polished stainless, realize the commonly available hardware is equivalent to only about grade #2.

I don't think that I would trust a hardware salesman to work on my truck.
Some of them are bald, but if you called him a "chrome button head" to
his face he might fight you. :D:D:D

Any good auto parts store should have bumper bolts with the stainless cap you are describing in various sizes behind the counter.

  7. Are they a rounded head with a square reliefe under the head like a carriage bolt?

If so you can get stainless carriage bolts at a place like Ace hardware and them polish the head even grind it down to make it closer to the original Dodge size if you want then polish it.

    Its just a thought.

Are we discussing the chrome strips on the grill or bumpers.? I'd go along with HnStray in that I'd check Gardner Wescott first. Well, maybe not unless you order a printed calender as I just tried to snoop their online catalog and didn't have my secret agent decoder ring on to get in and find anything.
I had better luck with a Google search and found a number of links.
Figure out what style head you want and what material and then put something like
Chrome button head machine screw in a Google search and go down the list.
Some but not all of the Ace Hardware stores around here are getting really good selections of Chrome and stainless bolts and screws.
