Does anyone have the rubber coated blue point/snap on dolly?? If so how do u like it or should I use just get the plain steel one Sent from my iPhone using TJJ
Depends on what you are doing with it. Sometimes you need a steel dolly, but there are times when a softer faced one is called for...like cold shrinking. But on the whole, they aren't used nearly as much as a steel one.
Most of my hammers and dollies are made by Streamline... I've never used a rubber one. For shrinking I usually use a waffle dolly with my rawhide mallet.
Hey, Buy the "Toe" shaped dolly, and wrap it in a shop rag, there, same result, and you can hot shrink with the steel one! And, I've no idea what '' iPhone '' or using TJJ '' is! " Humpty Dumpty was pushed "
