History Bob's Big Boy Broiler Opens In Downey!

Nice place. What a great environment to have a burger and take in some great automotive Americana. I always get jealus of you So-Cal guys this time of year. Now all you lucky f$$$# fill that place with cars!!!!

Seriously, guys, for those of you that were involved in this; Bravo! This thread really pissed me off when I first read it. I'm amazed that you guys were able to get this done. What an awesome place to cruise & one more reason I'm jealous of you SoCal guys!

 

As you drive west from the Harvey's (now Big Boy) on the south side of Firestone just past All American Home Center you will see the original Taco Bell restaurant at the east end of the strip of stores...has a sign that says Seafood Tacos or something like that. Used to have a firepit out front like all the old Taco Bell's had.

Was another place to hang out in the old days. 19 cents for the Taco,Bean Burrito, or my favorite the Bellbeefer.

 

Job well done Kevin. It's great to see this come to completion. Way to take a stand, man!
