When I first saw the photo, I thought it was Caddy based. The engine looks good, less the new radiator hoses. I wonder why it didn't sell at a big auction? Unrestored, slightly worn underneath? Perhaps it looks better in person? Gary

Its odd, I wont deny that, but I am a big fan of Bob Hope and the people he touched. I think its a cool car.

i like it .. although that rear end photo reminds of a 53'vette humping an up-turned boat....

i agree with some others in this post that for its time it is brilliant.... i wouldnt keep it though.. except the motor .. id like that part - alot!!

Ugly could be an understatement. $200K plus? Wouldn't even if I could and it didn't matter.

If I had a dog that looked like that, I'd shave it's ass and make it walk backwards.

Regardless of it's unique look (to be polite), if it doesn't end up in a private collection of a golfer or entertainer, more than likely it will end up in one of those tacky "auto" museums next to some other Hollywood movie, TV or "Liberace" style celebrity cars.

On the positive side, it could very well end up at the Smithsonain (if donated) in a motion picture diorama or even a USO display. The man's life and accomplishments were bigger than his poor sense of style or gaudy toys. Gary

Bob Hope probably did more for our American Servicemen than our Government ever will and your grammer sucks.

I am so glad this came up on here. I was going to buy it for my daughter as a birthday gift, but all the negative comments changed my mind. Thanks troops. ~sololobo~

It's a poor design. "Produced by Lloyd Templeton with the help of his sons" How old were they I wonder?
