Hot Rods Blown Caddy? Pics? Help? SUPERCHARGER 101

I've looked into this for my 331 and a 3-71 driven 1:1 will give you approx. 4 lbs of boost which will give you a bottom to mid range kick you'll definately feel.I dont recommend more than that given the restrictive nature of the caddys small ports and valves not to mention the long rods become unwieldly at higher rpm.With the original 7.5:1 compression you'll get about the equivalent of 9:1 with the 3-71 and still be able to run pump gas.Two Carter WCD's are all you need on the intake side.If you want more than this I suggest a 365 or 390.Good luck and post pix if you go thru with it.

 

No real progress, but I have a line on some Vbelt stuff and some ideas for a top.... its going to be awesome!
