I am selling a motor that I had built in 1974 and never fired. It is a 1970 402 Chevy big block with the 6-71 blower setup.
I bought the engine and had a well known builder in San Francsico,
Jim Doyle build it for me. He bored it .030 over had it balanced at Custom Engine Shop in San Francsisco by Don Elgin. It has a custom grind hydraulic cam specifiacally made for a street rod. This was orginally going into a '36 Ford but I never completed the project with the big block. It is a 2 bolt main motor. The heads started out as oval port heads but were opened up to match the square port heads and relieved and ported.
The 6-71 blower was purchased from Rudy Mortensen in San Mateo, the drive is from Blower Drive Service., 3 inch drive. The blower is polished but has been sitting for over 40 years and needs to be buffed out. The motor has never been fired, only stored. It is on an engine test stand that goes with the motor. The engine has two 600 Holley's on it and also comes with 2 brand new "in the box" 650 double pumpers.
I priced this at what the cost of the blower alone is now not including the engine, carbs, etc.
    Thank you. P6200001.jpeg
