Ok, I'm far enough along on this for a build thread now...picked the body on eBay, it had a SBC in it at one time. I plan to do a simple no frills HotRod.

Replaced the driver side floor board.

Replaced the lame '80s Mopar steering column with a '65 Wildcat column (no switch, no shifter).

Positioned the master cylinder/pedal assembly (dual system).

SWEET !!! what ever they used to mold-in the rear fenders and tailpan has held up well. i would like to do mine like that.... but not sure what would be best to use.

it looks like they did my old trick and spaced the rear fenders out at the back and welded some sheet metal in the gap. good for more tire clearance, as the fenders taper inward at the rear in stock form. they do look way better that way.

Love the Studes. Had a 50 business coupe and should have kept it. Nice work there!

One of my Favorite Body Styles. Always have liked since i was a young Kid. It was in my blood then, but I didn't know it ! I went and found other favorite of mine, a 1949 Nash 600 Tub. I have a few others, but getting to the other side of getting it on road. The Engine in this runs, but had to re-wire it right, plus a few other things needed done! i have had back & neck surgery, so got interior out of a 2000 Lincoln Navigator. I wanted more modern interior, than the ragged out original interior.

I've always like these too. Have you seen the 49 on that American Pickers show, it's a two door.

My guess is they got it for a song and they are using it is advertising/billboard. Make a decent offer and im sure it would be for sale.

Sweet deal. These are nice cars to have a blower on since they're so lightweight. Have fun!

Keep the stance...pretty easy to put on some airbags with that set-up later if need be.
