Blower / Supercharger base dimensions?

Does anyone have the width and length of the blowers listed below.

4-71

Can someone measure the overall measurements? It would be much appreciated.

I found this link, but doesn't list width.

What dimensions are you looking for? The length/width of the mounting area? The case . . . or what? Let me know . . . as I have both units. If you want detailed data - consider just buying a base gasket for each model - then you'll have the holes, opening area, etc..

471 base gasket is 12 3/8 wide and 9 7/8 long

 

The width and length of the base would be great. From outside edge to outside edge where the blower mounts to the intake manifold.

I'm trying to figure out if I have enough physical space on a project.

from that linked thread I would have guessed that the 4-71 base is 12.5" wide by 10" long, not far off from Russco's measurement.

also this chart shows the 3-71 rotors to be 7.482" long, so I'd venture a guess that the 3-71 base is roughly 7.5" x 12.5"

 

My 471 is 17" long with no snout.The width hole to hole is 6.5" and the length is 11.25 hole to hole.The mounting base dimensions are 13" by 10" and it stands 7.5" tall with no carb adaptors.-Drew

Wait a minute...found this in teh BDS book.

BDS tech guys aren't teh friendliest fuckers you are gonna find, but thier cataolg will answer almost any question you have about blowers.

Even better than Pat Ganahls blower book. (sorry Pat.)
