I tried to respond to a "for sale" ad and got a note saying I was not allowed access. Can someone explain? Thank you, Don Sylvia (chevyburb)
It can't possibly be that difficult to redirect or display the sticky "You can not post or reply to classifieds " message along with or instead of the blocked access message I guess we'll have thousands of these inquiries
I almost fell victim to not being able to respond. But, I accidently stumbled across a post about it before hand.
It's Stickied at the top of classified every section - http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=699639 People should discover that for themselves.

If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation. ........... Changed to This ? Dear whoever Can you not reply to classified ads? That is by design. We want to keep the classifieds fair by giving each ad it's due at the top of the forum. If you have a question about an ad or want to make a purchase, simply private message the user who placed the ad. You can do that by: Step 1: Click on the username of the person who created the ad. Step 2: Click on "Send Private Message" Thanks a ton, Ryan
That's all well and good, but if you search for something like, Model A, HAMB results and Parts for Sale come up, if someone isn't paying attention to the description on the RH side, they may not know it's a classified. There could be some honest mistakes...
