These wheels are actually 15 inch aluminium wheels of a bmw 5 serie. These allow me to run large discs and give me enough caliper clearance. 57 Cadillac hubcaps will be used.
The funny thing is I don't even know who that is on my truck......lol.......some people asked me if I could pull my truck in this area so they can get some pics with the pin up girls who were at the show. this was one of the only shots I was able to get while trying to find a camera from one of my friends being I never brought mine.
My 54 Ford...came as you see it (except 4 flat tires and no brakes and not running!)...love the black wheel and caps look though!
i wont flame cause theres a lot of "you guys" on this board and in the hot rod scene but i just cant understand the appeal...hmmm
at least the motivation is in the right spot - in the 50's kids had cars from the 30-40's - similiar with kids with cars from the late 90's now- in that respect it is all relative at least it is an automotive passion
ya i can dig that. there are more reasons i wont flame him but one of the biggest is its an american ride, which is more then i can say for my ricer step-brother *shakes head*

I graduated highschool in '63. At least in my area, black wheels with whitewalls and baby moons were the look. Plenty of the whitewalls were really porta-walls. Bottom line, they are period correct.
I'm running black steelies on my driver build. Why am I running them? No imagination I guess, or too cheap to buy magnesium, or because its just a mechanic's coupe and only needs wheels to hold the tires at speed.
