Here's my contribution to the black on black arguement. One pic with the black shell and one with the shinny. I'm sticking with the shinny.

I agree with you esp if its the one from Cali....I got to see that car in person and it is truly breath taking!
okey, here I go, repeating myself ... again. This is still one of my absolut favourites ! Tardell style.... / primerkid
thanks....yeah i know i need to get my ass into gear - though its a bit too cold here for painting/working in the garage - i had to scrape the ice from the car tonight when i went out. dont worry though they will be painted in the next few weeks once the cold weather disappears, well once it goes up to about 10 deg. anyone any pics of any fully fendered black 5 window coupes?
Headin' that way Just need 1 or maybe 2 more with original black/daaaark blue with yellow pinstriping. All else is black. Seats too.....hey, even my fantacy sometimes. Fun tread Paul
First registered and drivable car- '49 Ford Business coupe, color, BLACK. Currently 4 registered and drivable vehicles, color,(on all) BLACK. Only new car I've ever bought, a 1966 SS396 Chevelle, color, BLACK. In between there has been over 100 cars (various colors) and all but three that were licensed and drivable, color, BLACK. What can I say? I have no imagination and am too old to change (hopefully). Frank
Man this rig is STUNNING!!!!! The wheel combo is perfect.....not that "big n little" stance either.....pure 40's stance.
Thanks, Larry. Didn't realize it was the same car. Those Tardell guys really know how to put together a Ford! I'm working on a 27 T with a '34 Grill. All Black too, but with chrome dash and firewall, and a hemi. Someday...
Even a chevette looks good in black. One of my favorite looks is triple black on a 60's car... black paint, interior, and vinyl top. One of my personal favorite wheels is shiny black factory steel, with a thin line white-wall. A little of the topic, but they look killer on a dark or black car. Can't go wrong with black, ever!
