http://billetproof.com/upcomingshows/washington/ Google is your friend. Rules here, and they do check pretty closely. http://www.billetproof.com/rules/ Looks like June 25 and I won't have anything ready the way I am gong.
This is year number four and we should have a good 9 to 14 cars coming up from the willamette valley. It is alot of fun. The food vendors have gotten better since the first year and the cruise was better last year than the year before. You should make every attempt you can to go. Joe Edit.... not sure on if there is a cruise this year, the show has been changed to a SAT only show. I pm'd Choptop and we'll see what he says.
One day show this year. there will be a cruise, we are working with the city to see what needs to be done to make it all work. They are hip to it and want it to happen... but the gear of government turn slowly. So hang tight, we'll post the info as soon as we get it.
After all of the stupidity by a few people you are very lucky. Hopefully they learned their lesson last year. It is a nice activity to be able to have.
I doubt the people being dumb learned anything... but I did, and the city did. This year the police will be out in force at the cruise. Any traffic law violation will result in a friendly chat from a local law enforcement representative and and opportunity to visit the local area again on Monday when the impound yard opens up so you can retrieve your car. You will also win a free sobriety field test, good luck, hope you studied. Those spectating and encouraging stupidity will get the same test, drunk in public is a nasty thing to have on one's record. The short story is, dont do anything stupid, enjoy the cruise and all is well, get stupid and you'll be treated as such. But, we get to have the cruise. The city really is behind Billetproof being in town and letting us cruise, we just need to fine tune the activity and some peoples perception of what is acceptable behavior on public roadways.
Good question! Will the law be talking to us about "illegal items" or are they cool with it? Ride height, open pipes, bluedots, etc...
I dont know if my car or truck would be approved in the show, The truck has aluminum as the flooring for the bed.
those are fine. Doing burnouts on city streets lined with spectators and packed with traffic? Not so much.
Really looking forward to it. This'll be my first year too. I'll be taking my '41 Fordor if the fumes don't get me first.
i will have a bunch of rusty/bare steel artowork there again. finally got my hands on some more car art so bring a few bucks and score some cool artwork. buy it by the pound again. see ya there, jeff
Well excited to go but feel stupid because I registered early thinking my truck would be done in time..yeah well thats not happening.
