Bill Hines early picture, leading a top?

Hello all you guys. On a facebook group I frequent, a fellow put this picture up. I thought it might be a young Bill Hines. I have no doubt that it won't take long for one or more of you to let me know. Thanks guys.

I don't know if that is him in the pic or not. But, Bill better cut out that smoking and leading or he isn't going to live too long.

The man has got to be some kind of medical miracle.

That was going to be a tow car for the Dewin 37 Chevrolet drag car. It was never finished and was scrapped. I think that was the son of the guy who ran the Dewin.

Nobody's been around as long as Bill Hines. He was an experienced bodyman from Detroit with some fine customs to his credit, when he blew into LA in 1958 and went to work for George Barris.

If you want your car done old school, you don't tell Bill Hines how you want it done. He tells you how he did it, when your grandaddy was in diapers.

Thanks I learned some thing. I have been on line looking at what I can find about him.

 

I have known Bill Hines from Detroit in the early days. The man in the picture is definitely not Bill Hines.

I am no Sherlock Holmes but the guy in the picture has a rather excessive receding hair line and unless bill Hines liked to shave this particular hair line into his head for fun when he leaded a car ... It's not fucking him!
