Bill "Grumpy" Jenkins - Brain Surgery

Good to hear the news!

 

Good luck to Mr Bill Jenkins on his recovery. After seeing Grumpy at the 1966 NHRA Winternationals I returned home and ordered a '66 SS L79 Nova. After 5000 street miles I took it off the street and only raced it. The good old days. A friend in central CA still owns the car and I miss it.

 

Anyone hear any updates?

 

Still hospitalized but doing better.

Jungle Pam anounced Saturday @ Drag Fest that Grumpy is doing better and has moved to an assisted living facility for a couple of weeks to help him get back on his feet. It appears this isn't a permanent move and he will eventually go back home.
