I took a bunch but let's start with the Mercs


The ubiquitous Hirohita HT style but flawlessly done.

 

This more door 49 was so nice plus it wasnt screaming at you with a statement. Lots of very subtle touches.

 

Even the flatty was done to perfection in this Merc

 

More subtle touches, the parking/signal lights were cut into the lower end sections of the bar.

 

And finally the rear. This was one of my favorites at the show and shows that a more door can look super.

 

Complete with SBC and lower rot. $9500 for this rough diamond!!!

 

I think the paint would have been better in a solid . That two tone just doesn't do it for me.

I didn't even notice it was a 4 door til you mentioned it....

 

This 41 Merc was a R&C feature some years back. Originally done in CA I believe, now lives in CT

This 36 Poncho 3W was a crowd pleaser. Goes to show you that there is life after Fords.

 

No show is complete without a blown 40 coupe

A 55 Crown Vic always stands out in a sea of tri 5 Chevys

 

Yeah, its a tri 5 but totally radical

I had one of those in the early 70's.

 

Big 48 Olds with 455 power.

The only enclosed T rod I saw, nicely done but the wrong engine!

 

Im normally not into buckets but this is an exception

 

So the MOPAR fans dont feel left out, a nice 40 Dodge.

 

It looks like that monstrosity started life as a Merc.

 

And for the 34 fans

 

A truly mean looking Buick. Big cars are in around the NYC/LI area

 

Nice highboy even if it has the wrong engine.

 

Elliot Ness used to chase these. Pure "Cops and Wops" 32 Packard.
